Top loading means you enter the hammock from the top, bottom loading
means you enter from the bottom.

I think just about all Hennessey's (I could be wrong) open from the
bottom and what they have is a split in the body of the hammock which is
closed by hook and loop. You open the split sit into the hammock, pull
up your legs then close up the split.

The top loader you just turn your back to the hammock and sit down then
swing your legs into it.

I don't know if I like the idea of having a split in the centre of the hammock held by a hook and loop system. Nasty things can happen with the likes of one...
