I thought that you might like to know that Andrew Locke will be doing a
presentation in Perth on Wednesday February 20th 7pm at UWA's Social
Science Theatre on his recent success on Annapurna, one of the 14 8,000
metre peaks in the Himalaya.

Andrew and I were on Everest together in 1993 for the 40th Anniversary and I
personally voucher for the quality of his presentations. He is dynamic,
thoughtful as well as thought provoking. Andrew is on track to become the
first Australian to climb all 14 of the 8,000 metre peaks and is undoubtedly
a great ambassador for Australian climbing and adventure.
