Hi Guys,

It seems that I gave you the wrong website address for booking Andrew Lock
tickets for his WA Presentation on Wednesday Feb 20th @ 7pm. It's
www.andrew-lock.com (not "locke"). Apologies for any inconvenience.

In addition, we are forming a WA chapter for the Australian Himalayan
Foundation. I have been asked to be WA Director and I would like to put
together a committee to organise fund raising functions and events to
continue the Foundations fantastic work in Nepal. The AHF has taken on
several of the schools that the Hillary Trust supports in Nepal as Peter
Hillary, Ed Hillarys son, sits on the Board of AHF. Other Directors include
long time Himalayan tragics such as Gary Weare (Lonely Planet author),
Christine Gee founder of Australian Himalayan Expeditions now World
Expeditions), Simon Balderstone AM (group leader, political advisor), Mike
Dillion (film maker) and Lincoln Hall (mountaineer). If you wish to find out

I'm keen to hear if anyone else would like to be involved. I don't expect a
huge time commitment but it'd be great if we could be a group of around 10
and develop a local membership base of a couple of 100. There will be stand
at Andrew's presentation to take names of interested people and to answer
any questions.
