Adventure Journal are not going to be produced for 2008.

ADVENTURE PUBLISHING - ANNOUNCEMENT 14th April 2008



Carl Roe and Lucas Trihey of Adventure Publishing regretfully announce that
they have decided to cease publication of the Adventure Gear Guide and
Adventure Journal magazines.



Although both magazines have been well received by readers, advertisers and
gear suppliers we've found that our business model of producing just two
titles per year was proving difficult to sustain. The only answer to this is
to publish the titles more frequently, but for lifestyle reasons this is not
a direction we wish to pursue. Our decision to move onto other projects is
partly business, partly lifestyle.



We're currently negotiating with potential buyers and we'll advise you if a
change of ownership occurs.



We'd both like to take this opportunity to express a hear-felt thank you to
the wonderful readers, contributors and advertisers who have supported
Adventure Publishing and made the four magazines we've produced a reality.
We're able to look back on the titles with pride and we hope we've left a
positive legacy.



We'll be contacting subscribers soon to make arrangments to refund the
un-used portion of your subscriptions.
