RE: [Aushiker] Walking buddies wanted

Hello Ralph

Thanks for letting me know about the walk, unfortunately I will be at work. I
would like to get to know more about Perth Bushwalkers, is there any info you
could give me?

Thanks
Clare

Welcome Clare,

I am sure that someone will post here to let you know when they are going

out.

I’m leading a walk this Sunday if you are interested on behalf of the Perth

Bushwalkers. It is the Eagle View Walk Trail in the John Forrest National

Park.

The details:

Sun May 3rd. Eagle View Walk Trail 15 km + 200 m

Ralph Ditton 9450 2334/ 0413157870

John Forrest National Park

rdassetts@optusnet. com.au

This bushwalk circuit will lead to the parks’ less explored destinations. We

will be covering a variety of relatively pristine habitats.

This trail was developed by the Perth Bushies in conjunction with the park

rangers.

Bring morning tea and lunch.

We will meet for an 8.30am start in the car park of the Pig and Whistle, Cnr

Morrison Rd and Myles Rd. Swan View opposite the chemist shop on the other

side of the road with the blue and white sign.

There is limited parking at Taaffe Rd, so we will have to car pool depending

on numbers. It is only a short distance away.

Cost. For non-members it is $5.

Best

Ralph

Hi all

Im Clare, 28, I live in Perth and would like to start doing some

bushwalking, locally and around WA. I have walked about 150km of the

Bibbulman track around 10 years ago now and I want to train up to do the

South Coast track in Tassie. If anyone is heading out anytime and wants some

company please let me know. I would say I am moderately fit at the moment

but I dont think I would hold anyone up too much! I work away so I am not

always home but it does mean i have free days during the week! Look forward

to hearing from anyone.

Clare
