Hello Clare,
There are two walks on with the Perth Bushwalkers. As a non member it will
cost $5 as a visitor.
There is Peter's Rocks and Kalamuna National Park/Piesse Brook.
Here is a cut and paste of the walk details.
Sunday
17 May
Peter's Rocks 11km + 240m Tony O'Brien 9384 7731
The day walk in the Wungong Valley area behind Armadale is about 30% off
track through open
Jarrah forrest and across rocky outcrops and hopefully beside running
streams!
It replaces a walk our secretary Peter Spriggins was to lead, but now cannot
due to his foot
injuries.
Meet at the club car park for 8.30am sharp departure or at 9.00am at the
Pioneer Village Narrogin
Inn car park, corner South West Hwy & Albany Hwy Armadale.
For more details ring Tony on 9384 7731.
Sunday
May 17
Kalamunda Nat.
Park/Piesse Brook
14 km
500m
Niels Asche 0417 181 061
This circuit walk is through Kalamunda National Park. We will be walking
beside Piesse brook and
heading past the Pipe Head Dam. The walk is rated as easy to medium and is
all on track.
Depending on the weather, we may reduce the vertical distance.
Meet at the club's HQ Heathcote Carpark at 8.15am for a 8.30am departure or
ring me for an
alternate meeting Point.
The club meeting place is the car park at Heathcote, Duncraig Road,
Applecross.
You will need to have a minimum of 2 litres of water to be allowed on the
walks.
If you do not get a better offer go for one of them.
I am helping out with an Introductory walk for potential new members and
invitations have been sent out to people who have indicated an interest in
joining.
Enjoy.
Best
Ralph

Subject: [Aushiker] weekend walks
I am home for the weekend and would love to go bushwalking anywhere in the
perth region with someone if they have anything happening.
