I can appreciate that advice as it is quite hilly even though it is 38 km.

The worst section is Possum Springs to Dookanelly.

My friend came to grief at the 15.4 km mark going from South to North which
is 4 k's from Dookanelly.

The Bib book says at this point: "Descend to cross gravel entrance to
private property. Soon after cross creek near property corner. ASCEND
STEEPLY from creek."



The cross section in the book is terrible. It looks like the teeth of a
timber saw with lots of little peaks interspersed with massive incisors and
a few molars.



It is just taxing on a hot day and 16 -18 kilo on the back.

I rang the Bib Office and Jim was not in but I asked the question.

Seems that the advice was not to double hut that section. No other info was
offered.
