Hi Mike,
Noticed your response to Andy, and the fact that you live in Geraldton, as well
as the Cape to Cape bit.
I visit Geraldton a lot, as my son and daughter in law live and work there, plus
I've got a soft spot for the place.
Maybe you could give me your phone number, and we could get together next time
I'm up that way ?
Just a suggestion.
The Cape to Cape I used the Westrail Bus, to get down there and back, bloody
excellent way to go.
Though I realise in your case, it would have meant an O/night in Perth. Ah well,
you'd be welcome here.
I'm planning to do the Cape to Cape for the second time next year, we intend to
take about 8-9 days.
Probably resting for 2 days in a caravan park for one night, to allow us to have
a hot shower and good feed.
Last time we did it, we managed to do it in 6 days. But I wasn't happy with
that, as much of the scenery was too good to just zip thru, it deserves a casual
linger to make the most of it.
Some of those wonderful places, I'd also like to drop a line in, and see how I
fare.
Regards walking around Geraldton, WOW, there's no time like the present, what
about the coal seam over Mullewa way ? Apparently the wild flowers are going
crazy over there right now, any chance pf working something out in that regard ?
Cheers for now.
Eddy Schmid.
