I was rung about participating in this - I unfortunately cannot do it - but
thought there may be someone out there who might want to - Wendy
The unique MOUNTAIN DESIGNS BIBBULMUN TEAM CHALLENGE 2003 is the only event of
its kind.
The Bibbulmun Track Foundation is looking for 16 teams of four from the
corporate world to experience the Bibbulmun Track (Western Australia’s world
class 1000km long distance Walk Trail) in a truly innovative and exciting way.
To take part in the unique Mountain Designs Bibbulmun Team Challenge
participants do not need to be ‘ultra fit’, but they do need to ‘think outside
the square’, have a sense of fun, enjoy pushing themselves, love to be outdoors
and able to work in a team.
Teams will compete against each other in one of four heats in a series of
physical, mental and skill challenges on the Bibbulmun Track. Participants
walk 15-20km per day, camp out and carry out other activities which may include
mountain biking, abseiling and kayaking.
This is the second year of the Team Challenge. Last year’s participants were
completely ‘bowled over’ with the event…..
“The Challenge far exceeded our expectations. We learnt a lot about the Tack and
the environment. It was well organised and we had a lot of fun” – Mark,
Welshpool Fire Station
“There was a tremendous feeling of camaraderie and team spirit. It was a
brilliant initiative – Yvette, Department of Conservation and Land Management.
The Foundation is a not-for-profit community based organisation. This is a
great opportunity for the corporate world to put something back into the
community as all funds raised go towards the maintenance of the Track
