G'day all,
I'll be leading the following walks in October and November as part if the Perth
Bushwalking Club and will be listed in upcoming newsletters. These walks will
be suitable for those who have done previous weekend walks and are happy with
some off track walking. You will need to carry a tent for both walks.
Expressions of interest are welcome to my e-mail address below.

October 25-26
Donnelly River - Tom Rd
40km + 200
alan.wilson@...
This will be a medium paced walk along the Bibbulmun Track and forestry roads to
the south of the Donnelly River village (DRV). We will leave Perth at 6pm on
Friday 24th and stay in the DRV Bib Track shelter that night. On Saturday we
walk into the lovely Tom Rd campsite by the Donnelly River. Sunday we return to
DRV via Mt Mack through the Karri forest and by the river. Bring your bathers
for a swim.
The walk will be a medium grade due to the distance and 20% off track walking.
Expect to arrive back in Perth by 9pm on the Sunday. Numbers will be limited to
9.
November 22-23
Wellington Dam - Collie River
30km +400?
alan.wilson@...
This will be a medium paced, part exploration walk through the Jarrah forest
around the ridges of, and down into the Collie River valley. We will visit
nearby peaks and the firetower for views over the valley and towards the coast.
There will be plenty of walking by the river, swimming opportunities and a
possible pack swim so bring your bathers. A water drop may be needed for this
walk but I'll confirm this closer to the weekend.
This walk is graded medium due to 40-50% off track walking and exploratory
nature of some of the walk. Leaving Perth on Saturday at 6am. We should arrive
back in Perth by 9pm on the Sunday. Numbers will be limited to 9.
