For the first time ever, Western Australia (and Australia) will host the
X-adventure Raid Series (pronounced cross adventure) in September:
location: Kalbarri.
This two-day time trial race covers disciplines such as kayaking, climbing,
navigation and mountain biking. This is not just a race, but a challenge of
strategy, team work, physical and mental stamina.

Join Australia’s champion adventure racer Matt Dalziel & Rob McSporran
(Mainpeak) for this free information evening to learn what it will take to
compete in this event.

Sponsorship Opportunity

Mainpeak, Salomon, and Saga Adventures will offer two sponsorship packages
for Western Australian based teams. Sponsorship will include free entry and
some Salomon product. Application forms for sponsorship will be available
on the night.

The first three place getters in the Western Australian event, to be held
from 3-5 September, will be eligible to compete in the Raid World
Championship to be held in Patagonia, Argentina in December. The world
championship prize is €260,000, one of the largest purses available in this
new sport.
