CALM has released the following press release in respect of works at
Walyunga National Park.

The Department of Conservation and Land Management has begun work to
redevelop the Walyunga Pool Recreation Area in the Walyunga National Park.
Improvements to the site will include terraces, paved pathways, reticulated
grass areas, new picnic furniture and an upgrade of gas barbecues.
The works have been designed to create a safe, universal access site that
enables all visitors to enjoy their national park experience.
The works program will mean that this recreation area will be closed to the
public for approximately eight weeks.
Walyunga National Park will remain open, with picnic facilities, barbecues
and walk trails at Boongarup Pool available.
During the period of the works, a reduced fee of $3 per car will be charged
for entry into the national park.
