Hi all,
OK, that clarifies things a bit. Obviously there is some double-hutting
going on if the ladies are to reach Dwellingup by September 13.
That vertical climb to Mt Wells might slow 'em down a bit!
That implies they will be at Gringer Greek (the most accessible hut from
the road) on Thursday September 9.
I was planning to go to Monadnocks on a maintenance trip that day, and
if there is evidence that they are on schedule, I'll go on down to
Gringer Creek to say hello and report back to the group (and to the
understanding and long-suffering folks back home).
By then, (if Cherie was not joking about the weight of her pack) some of
their gear may have proved to be worth leaving behind, and I could take
it into custody.
I realise that Thursday's no good for you Paul. Maybe we can organise
something a little further south.
Cheers,
Tony
