week. (We're going away Tues 5 Jan).
Queanbeyan or Beyond Q would be fine (not sure of the opening hours).

Thanks for the birthday wishes. Not sure I need reminding, but I'm
planning a happy one anyway. Probably asleep as a relief from long
taxi shifts.

It's been wonderful to see Canberra BookCrossers getting back
together, though I've gotten more books on Mount ToBeRead than ever
before!

Merry Christmas everyone, thanks for the books, the bonbons, the
friendship and the books. Mustn't forget the books!

Amsterdam in April and Boston in August are on my agenda. As is Sydney
in late October, which is a convention no Canberran should be excused!

Hey ho
Did anyone find a different looking postcard in their Christmas luckydip from
Saturday's get-together? It had a yellow post-it on the front and has writing on
the back about Canongate books.

I've misplaced a postcard that was meant to be posted with a bookray!
It's either gone overseas in my secret santas or it might have got wrapped up in
the luckydips!? ha!

My preference is to stick with O'Malley's as it's central and easy to get to for
those without cars.  We can always look at alternative venues in the new year.

I should be there, along with my sister (Deidre77) and her daughter who are
visiting me that weekend :)

Saturday's get-together was great! good company, good books, good weather!
I picked up a book from rmjwold that I read in a day, even though I was supposed
to be reading something else... what a book-tragic! ;-)
then countdebeans and I went with hotfrog to a Bollywood Concert that night in
Queanbeyan!... great stuff!

The next BC Canberra get-together on November 28th will be the last one before
Christmas. We could do a special Christmasy one and maybe even chose another
venue for it as a one-off? It could also be at a different time if you prefer?
Any thoughts?? please post your ideas / preferences here.
