Re: [bikers_anon] holiday in cambodia

Hi all
I had some prescription wrap around sunnies made ie Harley style.
They keep most of the wind and stuff out, even at silly speeds, but i had to
try a few styles to see what fitted the helmet.
To keep the wind etc out they must be wrap around.
I bet they dont get too many customers walk in with a helmet to try on frames.
The frames i liked the best didnt sit straight under the helmet, but that will
only be a problem when you get back.
If your in a health fund you may be able to claim back a lot of the cost (1set
per year up to a certain amount)
Cost depends on the frames you choose. Lenses are about the same no matter
what.
Photochromatic (or transitionals) cost a little more but work well as sunnies
and otherwise, but look a bit dickie when they only tint to grey.

Bruce

Hey guys,

Perhaps a question for other RGP contact lens-wearing bikers...

I am off to Cambodia in Feb and am certain the trip will involve
lots of motorcycle riding without, erm, 'head protection'.

As the place is fcuking dusty and my only un-legally blind option
will be my contacts, can somebody please recommend a stonking good
goggles/sunnies brand for keeping dust out of the eyes?

And/or likely price.

Cheers,
Fleur
