Re: [bikers_anon] Carrying stuff

Fellow riders,
Many many thanks to all for the abundant advice. Isn't this just a wonderful
part of riding bikes?...the cammer...raderie....cam a radry, cammer radrie,
cammie ...oh knickers, the friendship !! Seriously tho, it's great to have
everyone take the time to give their input....I have toured before, but
about 25 years ago, had a tank bag, panniers and rack on a suzuki GS750 with
Tomaselli bars and Yosh exhaust, so obviously am well outta touch
now....I've still got the tank bag and panniers but as they came out from
the old dart with me I suspect they have green stuff growing on them!!!!
However, I think Manny has supplied the answer, so thanks also to him. It
seems I can turn the Ventura pack around so it sits on the rear seat, which
then frees up the rack to strap a regular back pack too. This also means
that I don't have to get the tank bag as my one and only chrissy pressy (I
may get one after tho anyway hehehehehehe). I realise this may not be the
best weight balance, but maybe I can chuck out the bathroom sink and just
leave the kitchen sink....
Stay safe one and all and cheers again
Bill
