You asked the question, Yes it is crazy to go from
your Ps to an R1.
Many have but usually with a better bike than a 250.
There are a lot who have that dont ride anymore.
At 26 going on 27 I would say (as far as riding goes)
you are not past the "stupid stage" I should know 1- I
have have 26 year old sons, 2- I am nearly 50 been
riding since I was 10 and still not over the "stupid
stage" when it comes to riding.
There is little chance of you riding a new R1 and
being careful enough not to give it a handful.
Look at all your options listen to the good advice of
the expirienced and make your own decision after all
its your life and your money but dont be one of the
many we will be talking about after your gone.
