Re: P's to an R1

And thats from a guy thats at the pointy end of any BA ride he
attends! In fact, Sam is just one of a few guys that ride 600's and
are at the front of the BA pack and ride in the A group at trackdays.

Think of the times youve run into a corner too fast/hot. Its pretty
frightening eh! You may have almost (or actually) run off the road.
Now imagine doing the same thing say 20-30kph faster, with almost no
engine braking, on a bike that may be 30kg heavier.

I own an 03 GSXR1000 (for sale) and an 06 GSXR1000 (recently stolen)
on which ive done a combined 110,000 km (no thats not a typo). Im
seriously considering getting a 750 next because i believe ill be a
better, faster rider on it. Ive also just bought a 250 which ill be
using at the track because i believe ill learn more on that than the
bigger bike.

There are plenty of valid reasons for owning a litre bike, but most
people would be faster (where it counts) on a 600 ... and you could
spend the difference in price on training and track days which WILL
make you a better rider.
