Jason I agree that it can be hard to cover all corners for all groups. In
reality it's not going to happen from a one man show. And the light
conditions do dictate what corners are appropriate. As for limitations, at
Oran due to the layout the only limitations is not to be on the outside of a
corner if there's no barrier between you and the track. I've flag
martialled and worked with photographers there before(under James Spence).
On race days he is all over the track(as are the other hired photographers
bought in by various clubs etc), track days seem more a charity case event
than anything else. He was in the right spots (day got cut short by weather
and no photographer wants to be standing in the rain while several tens of
thousands of dollars of gear gets wrecked) but was taking the lazy pictures.

In some defence, we don't know the limitations put on him by circuit
breakers and Oran Park. By this I mean by where they will allow him to stand
and take pics, etc. The other side to this is that OP does have 11 corners
and only take pics at 2-3 corners is lazy.
That's my 2 cents worth.

Agreed, definitely average. He was shooting from some good points, but at
poor angles. (yes I'm doing a photography course, hence my absence from
rides of late)

i found keith muir's photos a little... well, more on the distinctly
average side than somewhat good. and telling people the photos would be
online the next day when they actually went up very late on tuesday arvo
doesnt rate highly in my book.
but anyway, some video footage from oran park... doing battle with the
green meanie.

Keith Muir?s photo?s from Sunday are now up.
Apparently I, like many others it would seem. Was riding in A, B ,C & D
grade but were only using 5 of the 12 corners present. (I was in C & B for
those that care)
