John,
It's not the chain (might be a bit loose) rattling around is it ?

Subject: [bikers_anon] stupid-ish question GPZ-250R
I bought this 20 year old Kawasaki 250 - the pre-Ninja Ninja. GPZ-250R, yes,
"Z".
Goes great and is fun to ride. (paint scheme is black on black with black)
But - when it is parked, I check all the bits in the front; wheel, front
disk, front hugger-type guard... all seem tight. Nothing leaks or wobbles.
However, when I am riding, especially over a bumpy road (regular bumpy
Sinney road - not bush) there are these little rattles and noises, as though
something is loose.
I'm not expecting complete silence, but what I DO hear sounds like something
is loose - nothing I can see IS loose.
The fairing also seems tight as a drum, should I take it off to see if there
is some hidden little treasures?
Despite the noises - which also a rental Honda had - I'm really happy with
the bike. Four-stroke twin, DOHC, 8 valve, relined at 14,000!
Rinnnnnngggg!!!! Pulls like a tractor in first (OK not like a 1400cc
tractor, but still...)
