We have plenty of laws, what we need is enforcement.

The only enforcment we have is a bunch of wankers in high powered cars
looking for someone to chase and only on selected roads targetting
selected groups... and the occasional short term blitz.

On a day to day basis you can largely do anything you want except
speed. I havent even seen RBTs in the usual places for ages.

Most fatal accidents occur in 60kph zones and most of them at
intersections ... and nobody is doing ANYTHING about it.

My Top 5:

1. Poor general driver ability/practice.

2. Bike parking = perfect place to find a bike to steal - zero bike
security.

3. Tolls

4. CTP and other insurance issues

5. Appalling and degrading road condition.
