I joined Bikers Anon on 16/03/08 and went for an L & P's ride which
was fantastic. Two weeks later (30th) i went for another weekend ride
which was even better than the first. I couldn't believe the speed i
was making it round corners and had more fun than i had ever had on a
bike (well in my modest 14 months worth of riding anyway).

Unfortunately the next day i had a run in with a car that amazingly
just didn't see me.
The result being 3 major operations, 5 weeks in hospital, 16 weeks
non weight bearing on leg, a total of 9 months till walking and
minimum 12 prior to sitting on another bike.

Its so disappointing (etc.....) to have something taken away from you
like that but my intention here is not to whinge. What i want to say
is thank you, the two rides i went on were awesome and hopefully i
will see you all in about 12 months ;-)
