Subject: Motorcycle E-Tags

Hi all,

I received a Fax from the RTA advising that the RTA is Providing
Motorcycle Riders with Free Pouches to carry Electronic Tollway tags. An
RTA Spokes Person said tag detection had been a problem for motorcycle
riders who had difficulties finding ways to mount them so they could be
read. The Pouch - which is similar to a mobile phone cover is attached
by a magnet to a clamp fitted to the handlebars. The RTA has bought
2500 of the pouches which are being made available free to motorcyclists
who hold Toll Tags. People with the larger E-Way toll tags can get a
pouch free of charge from E-Way.

The Toll Rider tag Pouches are being distributed at the nine motor
registries that sell periodic motorcycle toll passes, Bondi Junction,
Chatswood, Frenchs Forest, Manly, Maroubra, North Sydney and Wynard City
South (Surry Hills) Motorcyclists can also order the Tag Pouches at the
RTA Call Center on 131865

See ya
Noel
