Subject: [bikers_anon] 10th January ride
Just a short report on yesterdays ride. There are lots of photo's on
the SVdownunder site http://www.svdownun der.com/index. php?
topic=19393. 0
Was a terrific turn out, 16 I think. I had full intention of taking
the names and bike type of all there to do a ride report but
unfortunately pen & paper stayed in the top box with my camera. I'd
just like to thank you all for coming along. Was a shame we got
separated near Mt Keira. A misunderstanding with one group going the
highway and the other the expressway, but we still all managed to
meet up at the pie shop.
How good is that view from the lookout at Saddleback Mountain? I love
the ride back down, with all the dry stone walls, green hillsides and
Kiama as a backdrop ... spectacular. I also like the little back road
from Wombarra to Thirroul. A lot of the locals don't know that one
exists.
I hope everyone got home safely, some riding along the coast and
others going Jamberoo Pass, Robertson & on to Wallacia.
BTW, Did anyone happen to get a pic of the guy who binned the new KTM
in the park? Trying to stay with an SV650 & a GSX1400 is going to
cost our friend a lot of dough.
Till next time, cheers,
Pete.
