A big thank you goes out to Sean for his mature assistance throughout this
ride. He took control at the accident scene and proposed sensible ride
alterations based on the continuously changing weather and road conditions.
We even got him to lead the group for the 2nd half of the ride. Cheers mate.
Also thanks to Nathaniel for pointing out my inadequacies. Being as tense as
I was riding in the wet and damn cold coming home, I needed every piece of
clothing I had. Yes, even the blouse.

Subject: [bikers_anon] Ride Report Kangaroo Valley 31/05/2009
With the weather behaving itself, contradictory to the previous days reports
7 BA'ers met up at Gymea servo before heading off to Kangaroo Valley. The
group consisted of an even mix of old and new members...well as even as u
can divide 7 ppl without hurting anyone.
On Sean's advice we cut into the Nasho at Waterfall as there is some
resurfacing going on. With Andre leading doing a responsible pace given he
was on Rachel's Ducati, roads were wet and having an L and P plater in tow
we had enjoyable run through the bottom half of the Nasho and onto MT Kiera.
It was just before a particularly tight and tricky right hander that I got
the idea that Andre had his blouse on under his jacket and I would take a
turn leading. It was on that same corner I was later told that our P plater
Dan who I believe was behind me came off. Dan's OK, possible broken little
toe, lucky he had his RJ riding shoes as they undoubtedly saved his foot
from a nasty gash. The GT250R lost a mirror and blinker but in true BA style
he soldiered on all the way.
After meeting up at Albion park we were off thru Mac Pass :) With the skies
threatening and the time getting on we scrapped our plans of a detour via
Jambaroo and continued on Kangaroo Valley for Lunch.
Luckily we got to Kangaroo Valley without getting wet, unfortunately by the
time we arrived home we were soaked.
