I'm having trouble finding some info online - hoping someone here can answer...

I've got a mate selling a '95 fireblade with approx 80,000kms on it.
I'd heard from a dealer that around this time they need a new cam chain, which
requires a full rebuild to replace!
My usual mechanic said that that's about the life expected from the cam chain,
but that needing to rebuild was a suprise - however he did say he'd never done
one on a fireblade before.

Can anyone confirm/deny that a rebuild is required? Seems weird to me, but I
know next to nothing.

I'm just after some guidance before I resort to doing a
'honda-dealer-ring-a-round' ;)
