Hey Sean,
be careful what you wish for...
Already the government has implemented point-to-point speeding cameras (now
just to figure out where!) and they are already discussing putting 'tags' on
vehicles for speeding (read: monitoring).
The government at times (percentages depending) are indeed a bunch of
wallies. Personally, I can't figure out how they come up with a bad idea,
pass it and present it as a good idea to the populace. I'm not exactly Joe
Public but how the blazes do they do it? How do they do it without people
getting wind of it and saying "That's not a good idea."?
*Sigh*
Enough of the rant, in basis Sean I agree wholeheartedly with out. 'They'
should have figured it out and instead of seperate privatised companies
running tollways, they should have put it all together under one umbrella.
Silly people...
Jolyon.

But you cant get cash back from the M4, you need to have a different
card!?.
The govt has allowed a ridiculously complex and fukced up set up with
tollways.
Any idiot could design an electonic toll system that is universal;
requires only a tiny passive unit fitted to any sort of vehicle and
that allows variable tolls (bikes cheaper than cars, trucks, etc).
