Hoping to tap into the wealth of experience that contributes to this forum, I
have a question. Does one brand of helmet have a better reputation for
aerodynamics, ie quieter in use, than any of the others? I notice that many
members own Shoei lids.( For some reason my snug fitting Arai will have to be
replaced.) Was never happy with the visor changing mechanism either.. Would
appreciate input from the crew... Peter B, who will be riding something to PI.

Helmet noise is a mute (sic) point if you wear earplugs, which I do for most rides, especially long trips. Can't comment on brands but if you do find a helmet...

A good question, but it really is something that changes from head to head - they come in all different shapes - heads that is. Shoei seem to fit most people...

Too many variables. Different people angle there head slightly differently and sit in a different position in the air flow. Height, riding style etc affect...
