For those interested in going, put your names down on the database.

http://au.groups.yahoo.com/group/bikers_anon/database

There will be a limit of 25 people in the group. Any extras wanting to join
later will need to make their own arrangements for ferry, accommodation etc.

An info email will be sent out at the end of THIS week to those on the database,
changing your mind about going is allowed, although we'd rather you still went!

It was a south run! We so rarely ride the Nasho and Mac Pass.
Besides, it was near perfect weather and a late start. I just had to
be there.

How much fun was the run home - the long way.

Poor Dave was ready to give up before the return run thru the nasho,
what a pussy :)

What a great day to go for a run down south. A heap of new members and
some cameo appearances from old faces too.

Cool weather was out, but I at least thought it was tolerable. The week
of rain had left some random, rather wet patches, of road high in the
Nasho. Then there were the "green" sections that make your heart
stutter as they whisk under your wheels.
Who could believe the dream run up Macquarie pass. Little or no
traffic, dry roads... just twist, turn, rinse repeat. Its hard not to
smile and giggle to yourself in the privacy of your helmet when roads
are like that. At least until the nasty sand trap at the top which once
again had my heart miss a beat or two.

Then a pie at Robertson, some water and my first of many, many loo
stops (damn this cold weather and bumpy roads) before turning for
home... the long way.

So, thanks to everyone who came along and to the Prez for, well,
coming :)

Ok, I guess I must wait but please do tell when it all happens.

Actually, I would love to see the pic in the press as a means of
describing tailgating (amongst other stuff).

I not a legal eagle but I thought the statue of limiations of traffic
offences was 6 months,

If the fine is dated after the 10th June you may be able to fight it.
Talk to a lawer.

figured that because it is now july and I havent got the ticket, that
he just didnt book me......hahah. Yes , yes, i do realise that he

speeding and a ticket was issued to me. I was just hoping he lost the
ticket somewehre.........LOL

To pay by July 25th.

Apparently Quinns Leathers on BLoR at Kurrajong are good - but I can't find
their details on the whitepages, so I am not sure if they are still around.

Greg,

Thanks for the pics.

Mind you I found the pic at

action=view&current=103_2037.jpg to be interesting. Anyone reckon the
car could get closer?

Brodie - the upside is that you had an extra 6months to pay. The down side
is, you did the crime and you must pay up.
You can check with a traffic lawyer, but you will probably get the same end
result.
So, you got booked for 15-30kph?
  James.

Hi guys, I'm not sure who can help me here, maybe guy from the mcc would be the
most knowledgable.

I was fined in January for speeding and I never ever recieved a copy of the fine
in the post, because the cop was nice and I am a girl, I figured that because it
is now july and I havent got the ticket, that he just didnt book me......hahah.
Yes , yes, i do realise that he wrote me a ticket, therefore it is hard to deny
I was actually speeding and a ticket was issued to me. I was just hoping he lost
the ticket somewehre.........LOL

Well I decided to wait for the reminder to come before I paid it and it never
came, so I have been waiting waiting waiting and just when I finally relaxed, i
cop a fine in the mail yesterday for $208 and 3 points. FROM JANUARY the 10th.
To pay by July 25th.

How is this so, how can they send me a reminder now?! Im outraged and thought I
had gotten away with it and now I haven't I am very upset!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am just thinking that this should of been cleared up ages ago and in all
reality if you get a fine and you dont pay it for 6 months , then you should
lose your licence shouldnt you? And Im just getting my first reminder in
July................... with 3 weeks to pay it.

Anyway, just something some legal person might know something about, especially
since people have been talking about copping toll fines 8 months
later................

Are that many people getting fined now they cant keep up or what???!!!

Cheers
