it is a bit later in the month, and a bit later in the week than we
are used to owing to room availability, but we are pleased to announce
that the next Canberra IA Cocktail Hour will be on as follows:
Time: 5:30PM for a 5:45PM start until 7:00PM
Day/date: Wednesday 14 March 2007
Topic: Andrew Boyd will run a short presentation on deliverables -
what makes a good IA deliverable? What makes a necessary IA
deliverable? Is it better to be paid by the kilo for documentation or
present the minimum possible? We'll look at deliverable
types/styles/formats, briefly discuss prototyping tools, and then have
a general show and tell session/discussion around deliverables. If you
have a deliverable that you are proud of, or unhappy about, bring it
along.

Parking: please be aware that Brindabella Park has odd parking
arrangements - there is an hour's free parking at the front of 8
Brindabella Circuit, then you have to pay for parking until well after
the meeting finishes.
