Every time I see an adult on a bicycle, I no longer despair for the future of the human race. - H.G. Wells, writer (1866-1946)
Critical Mass is the number of cyclists who can ride together in peak hour traffic in safety and enjoyment. Many of these cyclists share a vision of a city without cars, but our emphasis is on safety and reasserting our right to the road.
Adelaide Critical Mass is thought to have started in the
early '90s and has since been riding on the last Friday of every month.
We meet at Victoria Square fountain in Adelaide at 6:00pm to try and
leave before 6:15pm.
