Cogs Girls is a Melbourne based group aiming to encourage women of all abilities to get out and ride!

Members are welcome to use this Yahoo-group to coordinate recreational and social rides, and to discuss any issues relating to cycling or to women's fitness in general.

Cyclists are welcome on any of our regular rides that are shown in the caldendar function. Alternatively, if you would like to start a new ride, please add the details to the calendar about the meeting time and location, details of where the ride will go, anticipated speeds (ie. suitable for beginners or more experienced riders), ride duration and some contact details of the ride organiser (so members can contact directly to ask questions).

Group members should be aware that they are responsible for their own safety and remember to promote a good 'cycling image' to the general public. This includes using appropriate riding techniques and adhering to the relevant road rules at all times. Ensuring you have appropriate insurance cover is also recommended.
