The DTe message board can be found on
www.dte.org.au (follow the links not sure if its readable, if its not highlight
the screen and the letters will appear :-)
and this egroups is also the place to find a lift to confest
and the equipment
most people don't commit them selves til a week before confest or 2 :-)

No worries Mate, Just contact DTE(confest) direct.
They have a message board to hook you up with folks
going to Confest. Also you will easily meet people in
Australia. The Australians I have met are now long
time mates. It is a fantastic country and so are most
of the people I have met.

There will also be posts on this message board.
All the stuff you need to get is easy to buy and very
affordable. You may not want to ever leave
Australia. Especially after a Confest or two. I have
been to seven so far since 1999. I am from California.
