Hi all.
Yup, it's cool with me. I like Kevin's idea - the actual shoot location could
certainly be worked out , but best to wait until we actually see the site. In
my experience, every ConFest is different, so what might be a suitable
location last year may well turn out to be not so good this year.

...or in fact similar to some that were done at previous ConFests (quite a few
years back now). Maybe if a suitably large flat area can be found we could
incorporate a massed "group hug" as well (haven't seen/participated in one
since about 1991).

But does that requirement stipulate exclusive copyright to DTE, or shared
copyright? That requirement is actually law, BTW, since any such photos are on
private property and as such the copyright automatically belongs to the
property owner (in this case, DTE). I would recommend checking with DTE prior
to ConFest, and ASAP so that (if necessary) it can be discussed and ruled on
at the next committee meeting (otherwise, there would need to be a special
meeting called to discuss it).

I strongly urge you to contact DTE directly, but if they give the OK, then
count me in.
