First Aid needs YOU!!!

People interested in being part of the First aid in the Confest community
are encouraged to write to Lore Teicher, or post on the discussion board, as
Confest needs to have dedicated volunteers that contribute at least 2 hours
a day, each day at First Aid for community networking, skill development and
general wellbeing and sense of belonging.

At present First Aid is staffed by a small group of volunteers but are
getting overloaded as it is too long a commitment (24/7) to be continually
present and on call, setting up, packing up, supervising less expereinced
volunteers who like doing creative things with medical equipment in fashions
that could prove dangerous.

We want to create a First Aid community so that people feel proud to be part
of a community service that is so important

We already have our little family of First Aid people, but we are attending
to thousands of people and 4 or 5 dedicated souls can only give so much....
