	 Sydney ConFesters Gatherings are being held regularly throughout the
	 year. These are ConFest-style camping weekends for people interested
	 in creating and supporting a ConFest in the Sydney region to bond,
	 develop skills, learn about ConFest and have fun!

	 The weekends are about community….. helping and sharing in
	 activities including setting up, communal meals, creating
	 facilities, running and attending workshops. It's open to everyone –
	 no specific skills or requirements are needed.

I would like to share a little about where I would like to play a key role
in future events.

                                     5 x chopping boards

                                     1 x Refrigerator
                                     2 x large iceboxes
                                     1x Oven
                                     Utensils
                                     Mixing bowls
                                     Plate’s cups and cutlery
                                     3 x Gas bottles
                                     4 x Large canvas tarpaulins
                                     Sink’s and Stands
                                     Trestle’s
                                     Solar panels
                                     240v power outlet for charging radios
                                     Other tools and equipment
                                     Hessian fabric
                                     Misc ……………..


I have been more than happy to provide these things for past “Confesters
Gatherings”.
Next event I will be charging a rental fee for equipment as acknowledged by
the group in previous meetings.
This will enable me to continue to provide the many and varied
infrastructure for future events.
The fee is negotiable as I wish continue supporting infrastructure at a
reasonable price.
As you are aware, in the past confesters gatherings I have supplied the
equipment at my own expense.
While these gatherings are now able to afford the cost of infrastructure I
now feel the time is appropriate.

I would love feed back from the group to assist me in supporting future
confesters gatherings, so I may
continue, to provide huge cost saving ideas, connections, equipment and
inspirations.

I trust if you don’t know who we are, Eric has made mentioned of us.

 

You are likely aware of the evolving concept of villages for this years
Easter Confest.

Twelve fire pits, each with gas stove, shelter (car port), blackboard,
light, radio (walki-talkie) etc) equals twelve villages.

An active idea to enhance the Confest spirit of social cohesiveness and
community plus to decentralise activities and responsibilities.

    

These spaces are open to our creative inspiration.

   So far we have villages allocated for …

1                    arts

2                    plus one for music

3                    fire twirling

   4                    and another for drummers.

If you have a desire to build a particular village contact
folks@... or reply with; your interest in joining us and others
who are incubating a theme for a particular village at a meeting in St
Kilda next Wednesday 31st.

   Who knows; many villages may grow from this meeting.
