Hello thanks for joining the loop. If you don't wish to receive updates, please
read this email to the finish.
Thankyou for all the feed back and contributions towards community based
gatherings.
I have been working for some time now with the peat's ridge team. The
professionalism
Stacked with such and grounded lateral thinking committed group is sometime
overwhelming.
So many things to consider when running such an event
From council applications, volunteers, singers, dancers, performers, food,
kitchen, refrigeration, sound equipment, ground cover, camping, swimming,
electricity , water, drainage, chai space, healing space, market space, storage
,security ,packaging, presenters,
Site planning, fire, safety, posting, distribution, tickets,
To mention but a few of the tasks, now in their final stages.
If you have considered becoming a volunteer now would be a great time to step
forward.
We are looking for the best of the best. And we are looking for people would
like to do their best in assisting such a worth while community project.
Please contact info@... for more info.
Last sat night was the 4th OPEN MIC NIGHT although a smaller gathering to what

taking up much of our time

out there for feed back about where you feel a good location is for the next

November 27th and 28th
Healing / ConFesters reunion, weekend at the grove.
I was first introduced to Jackie and Profter at the grove more than 4
years ago. This place is magic.
Placed in a valley near Wiseman's Ferry on a tidal river where a high tide
clothing optional swim is just part of the experience.
The Community vegetarian meals usually fireside gives place for interesting
discussions and exchanges not often experienced in today's world. To some this
place is very challenging. Most who experiences this place takes something home
with then they don't soon forget (in a good way J).

"The Peat's Ridge Festival"
This festival was first conceived 7 years ago by a man with a big vision and a
few distractions. TILL NOW. Over the last seven years the energy and inspiration
has grown. People who have gained a glimpse of this vision are eager to jump
aboard.
I have J
Those with a bigger vision will be inspired by what is really going on here.

Down to earth presents Confest Usually held somewhere on the NSW,VIC Border this
next one is at Deniliquin. Confesters (conference festival) is a place where
people come together and share what they know. You are free to do nothing or run
around all day doing all the workshops which are free after entry. Camping is
very primitive as are all the amenities. this are often a great talking point to
the "confest newbie's and veterans alike.
The highlights for people who attend are varied.
The new years eve bash, concert night, wandering minstrels, endless workshops,
massage tent, Chai tent, Healing space, Arts village, Pagan village, market
place, pizza, clothing, mud to mention but a few.
I recommend anyone who is in the looking zone to pop your head down for the next
ConFest. Or if you feel the heat a little maybe consider the Easter ConFest.

SPIRITUAL CINEMA:
To quote the web site:
"Before now, hardly anybody got to see the best movies made each year. Now,
with The Circle, you can enjoy heartful, soulful movies ... without leaving
home."
Stephen Simon
Producer and Director of INDIGO, Producer of SOMEWHERE IN TIME and WHAT DREAMS
MAY COME, Author of THE FORCE IS WITH YOU, Co-Founder & President of MOVING
MESSAGES: THE INSTITUTE FOR SPIRITUAL ENTERTAINMENT, INC.
"If, like me, you love movies, but you find it harder and harder to go to
theatres because of the violence, emptiness and overall lack of quality and
imagination that most of the current crop represents, The CIRCLE is a wonderful
opportunity.
Did You Enjoy WHALERIDER?
I loved it, and felt grateful that so many people got to enjoy it. There are
many films as beautiful as WHALERIDER made every year, but almost nobody gets to
see them.
Remember how you felt when you saw FIELD OF DREAMS, GHOST or TRULY, MADLY,
DEEPLY? I want you to see the hidden treasures, the films that are just as
moving as those classics of spiritual cinema.
As a result of my connections in the film industry and my talks at film
festivals and venues around the world, I get to see wonderful movies every year
that hardly anybody else gets to enjoy. I'm not exaggerating when I say that
some of the best movies made every year go virtually unseen.
The major distributors won't touch the most heartful, soul-satisfying movies,
because they don't think there's enough money in it for them, and even the
independent distributors often overlook quality films."
.........
So now we have three places you can gather and watch these monthly movies
1 Maroubra/Enmore
2 Chatswood
And
3 Berowra
Next spiritual cinema nights :
The Suggested donation for the evenings are,

Films we will be sharing:
'Hope' - 20 min. short. - In this beautifully filmed piece, a man,
left empty by overwhelming grief, leaves his home intending to end
his life. Along the way he discovers a mysterious woman named hope
who inspires him with her contagious love of life, reopens his heart
and allows him to see the possibility that he may still have a life
ahead of him worth living. Can he live his life with Hope?
'Little Daddy' - 14 min. short - Seven year old Marie is on a
weekend visit with her father, but quickly grows tired of his busy
agenda. Frustrated, Marie escapes from her father's side and embarks
on an adventure of her own. It is a film about finding the courage
to establish boundaries with the people in life whom you love and
respect the most.
'Eldra' - 94 min feature film - A magical glimpse into early 20th
century Wales, where young Eldra battles with her gypsy heritage. Is
she Romany through and through, or could she live like the Anglos in
her village? Are the differences in culture really as big as they
seem to be from a distance? Eldra shows us a place where all people
deserve respect, where love can overcome fear and where our true
natures have free reign.
Tea and coffee (and water) are provided.
Lots of Light, Life, Love and Laughter,

Sorry benny... I just thought it made sense for us to
build a broader community when away from confest - and
work and home/living seem to be part of what confest
is all about. Maybe we all could talk about what are
relevant subject areas, otherwise this group will only
have a flurry of activity around the times when
confest is being organized, rather than being part of
the ongoing fufilment of confests goals of talking
about the stuff that will change the world through the
way we living and work.

very valuable
lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still
wanted it because
it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20.
Many times in our
lives,we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the
dirt by the
decisions we make and the circumstances that come our
way. We feel as
though we are worthless. But no matter what has
happened or what will
happen, you will never lose your value. Dirty or
clean, crumpled or
finely creased, you are still priceless to those who
DO LOVE you. The
worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we
know, but by WHO
WE ARE. You are special- Don't EVER forget it."

To Benny and Sofire,
Thank you for your beautiful message of thanks,
As much and more thanks go to you and Sofire for:
Your never waving energy. The supply of so much equipment, from trailers to
nails and marques to pegs. For the time spent sourcing and preparing
equipment, and just as important your getting things done. If that is not
enough, the love and entertainment you both provided.
Gail's thanks to you for the running repairs to the car.
My thanks and appreciation to you and all who were there, for such a
beautiful time together,
Jimmy
