i am offering rides to confest. I will be leaving Melbourne on the
30th at around 10/11am. I will then be stopping at Bendigo later that

I'm Scouse, one of the Directors of DTE and unfortunately I am the only
member still not at ConFest due to illness, else I would be up there setting up.

I will not be attending this Summer ConFest.
It seems you are all having problems getting to ConFest so the only advise
I can give is to ask you to place an ADVERT on the ConFest Notice Board
at Paradigm-4, there is a LINK , in purple , on the opening page of the DTE
Website
at http://www.dte.org.au .       Here you will find many people offering lifts
to ConFest.

Hi,

I just posted this to the Confest community board. Thought I would post here
too.

I guess lots of people have already left for Confest, but in a moment of
inspiration and excitement I am writing this post. As a market LOVER I was
initially saddened by the news of no markets apart from food. Then I
remembered how excited I was to find the trading circle at Easter confest
(though it was on our last day, so we didn't get to go there
much)..........so now I believe, with the markets gone, how exciting it will
be to have a thriving trading/ bartering circle happening. Getting back to
the roots where trading and bartering were the simple forms of acquiring
`things`. Not only do people get things they want but it is also a blessing
to not have to exchange money. I am very excited about there being no
markets, as much as I love them, the prospect of having a huge trading
circle is much more exciting to me than lots of money to spend. We are
unfortunately not heading to this Confest, but are looking forward to the
Easter(?) festival. I will start gathering and making wonderous treasures to
trade and barter with. If anyone is already planning a trading circle, I
would love to help in any way I can to help out. Have a great Confest. Love
