Steph and Andrea here.

I trust if you don’t know who we are, Eric has made mentioned of us.

 

You are likely aware of the evolving concept of villages for this years
Easter Confest.

Twelve fire pits, each with gas stove, shelter (car port), blackboard,
light, radio (walki-talkie) etc) equals twelve villages.

An active idea to enhance the Confest spirit of social cohesiveness and
community plus to decentralise activities and responsibilities.

    

These spaces are open to our creative inspiration.

   So far we have villages allocated for …

1                    arts

2                    plus one for music

3                    fire twirling

   4                    and another for drummers.

If you have a desire to build a particular village contact
folks@... or reply with; your interest in joining us and others
who are incubating a theme for a particular village at a meeting in St
Kilda next Wednesday 31st.

   Who knows; many villages may grow from this meeting.

Is it being promoted to other places, eg notice and message boards at
www.dte.org.au , and through the confest email databases?

So far we've got three people on Front Gate, but it does look like
much of the task allotment can be sorted out before we even get
there. There's something there of interest to everyone, I think.

Although I might have misinterpreted "tarp erection", it seemed like
an attractive idea...

There is nothing to stop eric from his journey within a work shop
environment unless DTE feels intervention is appropriate.and it
should be made clear that it is not a DTE initiative or associated
with DTE

Also i am happy to keep this as a Car Pool Connection list for
victorian and nsw events
As first suggested.and pass on DTE annoncements.
Unless more than 50% of the group request somthing else
also i remind this list there is already a forum  on the DTE web
site    www.dte.org.au web just follow the links

PS Remember, you dont have to turn up to Confest in Easter to help out
- yyyyyeeeesssss - just help expand the Tribes by email, phone or
helping a Tribal meeting, and the Tribal Environment will be there for
you when you do come to Confest next! An investment in all our future.
You are also helping raise community in a window of opportunity, as we
have now. Dunno if this window will be so open to the breeze for a
while...
