an i have not been able to find any murray crayfish farmers myself.i
also like the murray crayfish very much an would like to have one
myself, but in south australia, their numbers are in a very rapid
decline, therefore illegal to catch an keep them.i am just as curious
to know if i could own a murray cray, but im not sure how i could.try
looking up the yarra crayfish, they are in my view is the crayfish with
a differant name, coming from the river yarra.the only differance is the
colour being blue instead of the brown/green of the murray cray.check
out the laws an the environmental status ie: if their endangered or not
first,if not, then you could go for the glenelg crayfish or the easiest
cray to get the marron.i am very interested to know what you find out
about your chances of getting a murray and/or yarra cray,if you find a
farmer for each of them,if you could mail me back with your results.
thanks
