Tonight the ten celebrities from Series 6 of Dancing with the Stars
face their first first eviction night. Who will be first to leave the
dance floor tonight?
Host Daryl Somers introduces the ten celebrities who will be dancing
for their favourite charities. Our favourite quartet of judges, Todd
McKenney, Helen Richey, Paul Mercurio and Mark Wilson return for week
two and continuing the excitement, international guest Bruno Tonioli
sits in the judging seat again this week.
Co-host, Sonia Kruger once again stunned the audience in a Carla
Zampatti royal blue velvet gown. Daryl and Sonia introduced this
season's latest Dancing with the Stars cast and moved onto the
biggest and best dancing series ever with the established and new
professional dancers undertaking the energetic and fast paced jive
and the tango.
Hitting the floor first tonight was Todd Woodbridge and his partner
Emily Reily decked out in thirties tennis outfits capped off with an
antique tennis racquet. The matching couple's energetic effort with
the jive was exhilarating for not only the couple but the audience
too. The judges were remarked on great effort, Paul quipped to Todd
he "danced like a Wimbledon champion and this week like a ball boy"
referring to a timing blip in the middle of the routine.
Scores: Todd 8 Helen 7 Paul 6 Mark 7 Bruno 7 = 35
Blonde bombshell Kimberley Davies, dressed in a sparkly black gown,
and her partner Paul Zaidman brought her acting ability and
experience into the emotional and passionate tango dancing routine.
The judges were impressed with the technique but pointed out there
was still the lack of passion which was also present in last week's
routine.
Scores: Todd 5 Helen 6 Paul 5 Mark 6 Bruno 7 = 29
Home and Away's own Tim Campbell and his partner Natalie Lowe stepped
onto the floor with a fast-paced and confident jive. The studio
audience and importantly the judges lapped up the couple's emotive
and high spirited performance.
Scores: Todd 9 Helen 8 Paul 8 Mark 9 Bruno 9 = 43
Next on the dance floor was rugby player, Wendell Sailor and stunning
partner Linda De Nicol,a both were dressed in matching red and black
with dancing the emotional tango. The judges' reaction was mixed
especially considering the tango is quite a difficult routine.
Scores: Todd 5 Helen 5 Paul 6 Mark 4 Bruno 5 = 25
Despite their rocky start last week Naomi Robson, dressed in a silver
and gold fringed dress, and her partner Steven Grace took to the
floor with a firing jive routine. The judges were impressed with the
couple's improvement not only the technique but the performance as
well.
Scores: Todd 5 Helen 6 Paul 6 Mark 6 Bruno 6 = 29
The vivacious radio broadcaster Fifi Box, dressed in a flowing black
gown, and her partner Paul took to the floor with their confident and
dramatic performance. The judges debated on the choice of music but
congratulated the couple's technique and performance. Paul was not
content to accept Paul Mercurio's comments on their choice of music,
Mission Impossible by Chemical Brothers, and his verbal power play
with the judge resulted in a score of five from Paul while the other
judges awarded them an eight.
Scores: Todd 8 Helen 8 Paul 5 Mark 8 Bruno 8 = 37
Dressed in a silver and black fringed mini-dress, Olympic champion,
Tatiana Grigorieva and her handsome and dance partner Brendan
Humphrey from Perth, brought an energetic and precise jive routine to
the dance floor. The judges and the crowd alike were very impressed
with the choreography and effort from the couple.

Planting both feet on the ground, horticulturalist Jamie Durie and
his partner Amanda, both in matching black and gold took to the floor
with a exotic tango routine. Despite a small mishap during the
routine, the judges remarked on the energy throughout the routine and
mentioned they should watch the coordination.

The bloke from the bush, David Graham and his partner Eliza Campagna,
dressed in a black and white frilled gown tackled a difficult tango
routine. The judges were impressed by the couple's effort, including
the choreography and acknowledged their improvement from last week.

Singer and musician Kate Ceberano, dressed in a slinky pink gown with
her partner, John-Paul Collins took to the floor with a jam-packed
jive routine which ended with the splits. Choosing a song which
celebrated her musical background, their concerns about selecting the
Joker and the Thief by Wolfmother were unfounded. The audience and
the judges were overwhelmed with excitement over the gutsy routine
which reflected the first 10 of the series!
Scores: Todd 10 Helen 9 Paul 9 Mark 9 Bruno 9 = 46
