Kimberley Davies - Biography

Kimberley is no stranger to film and television but dancing's an
entirely new experience for the gorgeous actress. "I'm just starting
to wonder what I have got myself into," she laughs. "I've watched
Strictly Ballroom and Dancing with the Stars – but that's the extent
of my ballroom experience." Despite her lack of expertise, the actress
is enjoying being out of her comfort zone. "It's a lot of hard work,"
she says. "But it's good for the soul to try something that's
difficult to do."

Like many of her fellow contestants, Kimberley is relishing the
opportunity to learn some new steps. "I think it would be great to
know how to dance," she says. "To know these moves for the rest of my
life would be fantastic." She's most looking forward to the Latin
dances, "I like the dances that are feisty and fast."

The glamorous mother-of-two studied drama at Monash University. She is
most famous in this country for playing Annalise Hartman on Neighbours
from 1993-96. Later Kimberley moved to the United States where she
appeared in a number of successful programs including Friends, Ally
McBeal and Spin City. She was also a series regular on the Fox
Spelling production Pacific Palisades.

After nine years of living in Los Angeles, she and her husband, Dr.
Jason Harvey, decided to return home to Australia in 2005 with their
two children Isabella and Joshua.

More recently she filmed a one-hour pilot for Channel Seven for a new
crime series under the working title City Homicide, alongside Shane
Bourne and Nadine Garner.

Kimberley will be dancing for Variety, which helps sick, disabled and
disadvanced children in need. The charity operates in 14 countries
across the world and was established and continues to be supported by
the entertainment industry.
