David hops off the dance floor.

Striding to Samba and Argentine Tango, Opera Singer David Hobson was
eliminated from Dancing With The Stars Semi Final.

David and his professional dance partner Karina Schembri scored 31 out
of 40 from the judges for their Argentine Tango and 23 out of 40 for
their Samba. The public vote was added to the judges' scores and
resulted in the dance duo polling the lowest and therefore departing
Dancing With The Stars.

David said 'Over the past 9 weeks we have overcome quite a few
obstacles including the flu and laryngitis so to travel this far
through the competition is incredible'.

David joked 'I think maybe I enjoyed myself a bit too much because I
was never really fussed if we got through or not. I was having
fun...especially sparring with the judges. It amused me that they
would correct my technique knowing I'd never do that dance again!'

'But the times where I felt the dancing and the music intensely were
very satisfying and my partnership with Karina was the absolute
highlight'.
