Well I have at least improved on the 16 goal
thrashing in my only other GF. At this rate it will only be
another two GFs and we win one.<br>Mae, your comments on
the umpiring and the thugs are spot on. How some of
those bastards can take any personal pride out of the
game is beyond me. The result was never going to
change but the maggots certainly helped set the Bombers
on the way and then Wallis and Long did their bits
to win at all costs. I can only hope they choke on
their beer today!<br>I thought the boys had an ordinary
day where things didn't go right. I watched the game
on tape again yesterday to watch from a different
vantage point. Row three behind the Richmond end goals
doesn't have the same perspective as the TV. I was very
impressed with Whiteman, Powell, Ward, Walsh and Ingo. But
Schwarta did himself proud as he tried to exert an
influence all day. He stood up when Long decked Simmo -
pity there weren't a few more prepared to have a go -
where was Big Carl and Rodney Grinter when you needed
them?<br>The effort was impressive to make it and we have the
luxury of knowing we can improve. I believe we are the
only team with the basis to match the Bombers over the
next three or four years. Strap yourselves in and get
