Hi Gavin,

Very many thanks for your e-mail of 7 July.

I have kept all my copies of THE INVESTIGATOR and my first walk with the club was on 14 March 2004 - the Calloundra Board Walk, and I've been pretty regular since.  However age takes its toll.

I reckon I am now limited to 3 hours walk on flat terrain.  So, as far as forthcoming walks are concerned:  BUDERIM WALKS (12/07/2009) is a bit too far;   DIANA'S BATH is much too far; NOOSA TRAIL 5 - Cooran to Pomona looks a nice easy walk for me!

I'd like to remain involved with the club - it's only $20.00 anyway.  However I won't be standing for re-election for Vice-President again.  When I'm really decrepit I'll demote to being an Associate Member!

I attach a picture of one of the gorgeous gorges in Cyprus which I used to scamper up and down in the early 1990s.  I could not do it now!

I look forward to seeing you in Pomona,

Cheerio,

Frank.
