Your love seed will become a rose
You can not change the past, but tomorrow will be a different story
Life is a gift and you gotta learn to live it if you believe in love
you gotta learn to give it
Tryin' to find someone who's kind is hard to do
You want the love but you really don't know what to do
You're just afraid of someone breaking your heart
You never learned to live you gave up from the start
You felt the pain but it made you strong
So remember no matter what you will go on

Hi,
Don't be turned away from goign to see Pan's Labyrinth on the big screen just
because of the gory stuff. You must take into conext the times in which this
story is set, fascism rules and that means life is dirt cheap because the power
hungry few will do anything within their power to get and keep that power. Its a
story of struggle of resistance, a story of a woman and her child trying to
survive in shitty world and a mythical story trying to find it's conclusion.
Okay so if you don't like people being shot point black range, then wait for the
video, or do go to the cinema but go with some1 to share the experience and talk
about it afterwards. Try not to go in with a pre-conception of oh it will be
this or that... hope this helps, and hey, I didn't know what to expect but it
was good to watch.. and remember, its only a story set in a crappy time of
Spanish history!
Cheers
Tiffany Jane

I heard that it's gory (which doesn't appeal to me) and that for the majority of
the movie they are not in the best part which is in the Labyrinth. I'm going to
wait for it to come out on video.

I saw it last night. It was quite good. The special effects are good,
and it is very atmospheric. When not in the fantasy sequences, it is
set in fascist Spain under Franco (just post civil war). So there are
lots of nasty fascists doing incredibly cruel and violent things. From
that point of view, it was very sad and dark. I recommend it, though.
But it's definitely not for kids or the faint-hearted.
Cheers,
Simone.
