Re: lateral resistance

Hi,

I am a bit confused too. The boat was measured for multi 2000
regulations. Data can be found at http://kotisivu.mtv3.fi/sctl/.
It is not unusual to end up to heavier than planned. The used norway
spruce as core material.

Regards,

Arttu

Hello How does a tiller feel when steering with a rudderboard? What do you think about having a daggerboard(s) in ww-hull? This way it could be possible to...

G'day, Steering with a tiller board is no different to steering with a rudder, in my experience. Harry rudders are bigger than normal rudders, but not by much...

Hi, Our builder, who has sailed KH-proa said that the proa tended to move sideways rather than forward, so maybe the problem was too small rudder area. They...

For me too. I guess this problem is always present more or less in "modern" proas. Perhaps they should have increased jib area in a way or another. They had a...

Balance is a problem with any boat not configured properly. It sounds like they are trying to fix a CE problem with a centerboard. I would suggest that sail...
