No, the side force is the same.

No need for special rotating mast. My junk proa "Ping-Pong" has a
very simple junk rig. Can't see any reason why a junk-scooner-proa
masts should be different.

Yes, after years of practicing... Use rudders!

I would say that a bigger easyrig versus two smaler junk rigs are
about the same, but the sails of junk rig are only a fraction.

Terho, I am curious about how the collar can work and still allow the rudders to be lifted vertically unless they are on the cheeks rather than on the rudders....
