Hello Rob - Had a look at Bains job, He's starting to smile and look
pleased with himself and the results and so he should. The end is in
sight.
There's heaps of room, more than I imagined from the drawings. The
headroom is going to be fine - measured up around galley area. If we
drop the floor down to the point where we have 13" width of walkway,
in the 2m length in middle of galley, I manage to fit with a good inch
to spare with my boots on ( and I'm 6'4.5" ). Bunks no problem either
( full queen- tooooo big ) and wads of storage area. Hull weights-ww
is basically fitted out + is 380 kg, lee about 180kg with mast setup
to be done, beams around 40kg - Yes?
Talking about weights the elementary long hull is only a tad over
10kg- I picked it up and put it in my back pocket and walked of. Hey,
have you a fix on the finished weight, displacement and loading? I'll
start to annoy you about materials shortly. The visionary is
gi-bloody-normus,and schmicky, don't know how I thought thats what I
needed.
Keep on - Darrell
