On a weight or dollar basis I assume. Harking back to the idea you
can build a longer Proa than a cat or tri for the resources involved.
Some of the earlier versions at forty feet weren't unlike a 27 foot
tri with both amas put together to form a single 40+ foot float, if
one was considering the weight or dollar budget.

This kind of thinking doesn't pan out if you are up against certain
rating rules or docking costs.
